That cutscene was a bit lulzy, but I liked it. Sounds similar to what Eggman was doing with the Flickys in the older Sonic 3D blast, but on a much larger and complex scale now.
Oh, and I saw that Sonic Colors should be coming out soon.

Finally, a voice for Tails that I don't completely hate. I don't think Sonic's new voice is right for him, it sounds a little too old.

I liked Tails voice in Sonic X and a few of the games before this a lot better. It sounded cuter.

I have to disagree myself. I'm glad Tails finally sounds like a boy again. I will give the old voice actor some credit as in Sonic Unleashed particularly there was improvement, but in general I wasn't fond of it.
Sonic's voice... it is taking some getting used to, but that happened with Jason Griffith for me too. I do like it though.
I find it funny how the concept of "trashing a giant killer robot" is so normal to them that they just bring it up as idle conversation. xD

The voices are doable, though I'm not a huge fan. I notice that Sonic ignores the Fourth Wall, and that it is a little bit silly. (Hmmm. Predictions are coming true?)

Sonic ignored/broke it in Sonic Unleashed too. =P Honestly I don't think that scene should be taken seriously lol

We know Huski is hepped up about this when she types a line of random letters like that.
I'm excited too, I can oly hope for the best in this game, it looks really good so far.

I think I might be getting this game soon. It seems pretty fun. I am a little disappointed that Tails isn't playable.

i have just been playing for the past 4 hours I AM IN LOVE. I've gotten completely used to the voices now. I really love how they have tons of humor on the game but the voices and the way they put it in actually makes me laugh instead of cringe, yet there's still a serious element to it. I stopped playing it for now because it's 11pm and I want to actually have some stuff to do tomorrow but JHDGKJHDGJ LOVE IT.
(expect me to draw fanart and spaz over it for ages)

Do you mean that we might expect future artworks from you of things from it, such as wisps?
Also I haven't yet gotten it, but I want to, although this less-serious storyline you are talking about makes me question it Huski. I really like the Sonic games when the storyline is really serious and there are things like lives at stake and warfare and other stuff, which is why I really liked Adventure, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 2006, and the like. You say that it has a lot of humor and less serious-ness, maybe I'll like it, but I'm not sure.

Well I don't know if you already know, but the basic info on the story at the start is that Eggman has spent years building an amusement park in space to make up for all the evil he's done (which could technically explain the new voices if some time has passed, even though they never seem to age. I'm just guessing stuff here), and he's "convinced everyone" (apparently the entire planet is freaking dumb) he's trying to be nice except for Sonic, so he and Tails go to investigate. That alone should tip you off that there's going to be some fun (re: amusement park) but there are actually quite a few parts so far (remember I'm not finished yet) where it does actually get serious. I can tell you that the majority of the cutscenes are like the one that was shown at the end of October. In one cutscene, Sonic asks Tails to "pay up" because he told him there was an evil plot and going there was a good idea. Tails responds saying "we didn't bet" and Sonic practically goes emo on the spot and walks off waving to Tails (who waves back with a weirded out expression on his face). In another scene, it is revealed that the Wisps call Eggman "Baldy Nosehair", causing Sonic to burst into laughter. Tails's translator also causes more lulz.
Honestly, I love it. This is a comment from a Sonic Colours video on YouTube which pretty much sums up my thought. "Sonic is back to being the cocky wisecracking blue dude with an attitude, and I commend Sega for that."

I got a glimpse of some other stuff, and I see Eggman now has two mechanical assistants named "Orbot" (who also was in Unleashed) and "Cubot" (a new guy who has voice problems). I'm guessing these two are the new Scratch/Grounders, or Decoe/Bocoe? By the way, if I remember correctly, "Orbot" was also the name of this type of robot from this old game called "Vectorman." That makes sense, since SEGA did make the Vectorman series.

Okay so I just finished the game o: I love most of the game... except the ending. There are two levels at the end, both of which consist of running constantly, and the boss. It only took me four tries to beat the final boss (and the 3 deaths were all due to getting hit with no rings early in the battle), and Sonic doesn't go super or anything like that... it seemed very anti-climatic. And Eggman did have this thing which I won't name due to spoilers which could have been epic, but it got used once and failed and then just became useless. BUT I think all the laughs I had in the game make up for it. Baldy McNosehair, underwear for salads, the robot with the voice chip issues and Sonic talking to dead robots (and then getting caught by Tails)... I think any time I need a laugh I can just go play this game xD
OH and the credits are awesome. Especially the main credits theme. I believe it's called "Speak from your heart" or something?

No Chaos Emeralds you say Huski? OK, now I am much less excited about this Sonic game, since the Chaos Emeralds have always been a staple of the series, and not having them just doesn't seem right. And from the type of stuff that is in this game, it seems that Sonic has taken a turn for the worse in my opinion. The type of content you say is in it sounds like a re-imagining of the "Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog" show, which was only good for the Pingas thing, but nothing else. What happened to the really serious tone with not that amount of humor (but no doubt some of it where it fits), of ones like Sonic Adventure, Sonic 2006, Sonic Battle, Dark Brotherhood, Shadow the Hedgehog, and all those others? I mean I do like funny parts in a game, but not at the corny levels you are saying it has, heck even games I like such as Portal, Half-Life, and Gears of War have some funny parts in them, but not like the ones you are saying, and they still have a focus on the serious tone. Plus Eggman is the only bad guy here, and I already think he fails, and there is no new bad guy or returning foe who was better, of someone like Solaris, The Black Arms, Emerl etc. However, I can't say that this game looks like an absolute failure in my opinion. I mean those Wisps are definitely cute for the most part, especially that one named Yacker, and I do like cute characters, especially in Sonic. The boss battles also look great, and I do enjoy epic boss fights. Maybe I'll get it, and maybe I won't.

Well now...
I see myself as a man who listens, and this is what I heard from my readings of critical receptions.
"Best 3D Sonic Game in Ages" "92%" "Wii Version is better" (And the kicker, from a German gaming Magazine" "There is a God, and he is a Sonic-Fan"
I think I want to try this game out for myself. Anyone have the Nintendo DS version? I do not have a Wii.

Miles has the DS version, although from what I've heard from him it isn't good. I'm still going to get the DS version anyway (probably for Christmas).
