Guess what, I heard there is another new Sonic game coming out, Sonic Colors. I heard it will be coming after Sonic 4 and will have both a DS and Wii version.
From what I heard about it, it involves Eggman setting up some type of Orbital City, and Sonic must find a way to destroy it. Along the way, he and Tails are helped by these strange jellyfish-like creatures called "Whisps" who give them special powers. The game is supposed to be a new twist to the Sonic series, but I can't really say much else about it from this point.
So has anyone else heard of Sonic Colors?

It doesn't looks bad, but then again, Sonic and the Black Knight didn't too at first, but I ended up not enojying it when I first rented it.
I also saw this one promising looking boss battle against some sort of Egg-Ferris-Wheel of some sort. Maybe this will be good.

Nice. Do these 'Whisps' change your color according to power or something, or dis there some other meaning behind the name. Either way I'm probably going to get it.

Basically, the Whisp creatures sort of give temporary powers, and make sonic glow a certain color depending on which kind he has with him, making them kind of like a new type of item. Some that were revealed include the red whisps, who give flame dash powers, the yellow whisps, who make Sonic able to do a spinning dive attack to tunnel underground or move through water like a torpedo, and the Cyan whisps, who give him this "Cyan Laser" move (don't know what it does).

I have also heard that Knuckles and Shadow may be in this game too.

I come bearing relevant content: E3 trailer.
From what I've heard, separate versions are to be released for the DS and the Wii, each with a unique gameplay style.

This gives me even more insight on the game. So that's what Eggman's orbital colony looks like in it. That colony kinda reminds me of the Space Elevators from Halo.

Now, maybe this is just me, but, seeing as generally my eyesight prevents me from totally owning in a Sonic game, I tend to be drawn into the other characteristics about the games, particuarly soundtracks.
I FRICKING LOVE THAT SONG!
It is only about 35 seconds long, but if that is the theme to this game, I will do EVERYTHING in my power to get my hands on it! It sounds like a mix between the Europop I am constantly searching for, and a Sonic Song, which is like, THE BEST MIX EVER?
*Exiting fanboy mode*
This game sounds pretty cool, do you know if it is available for the Xbox360?

More content: Wikipedia article. As I understand, the game will only be released for Nintendo consoles, unfortunately for some. Also: "Sonic Team examined criticism of previous Sonic titles from critics and fans and tailored the game to match. Changes made included an amalgamation of 2.5D and 3D level designs... and omission of 'gimmick' themes such as the sword in Sonic and the Black Knight." I like the sound of that. EDIT: After searching for "Sonic Colors music" on Youtube, it seems that part of the soundtrack has already been released. The theme from the trailer is called "Reach for the Stars."

Couple steps ahead of the game, though, most of the soundtrack that is out right now has been heavily edited, it isn't so bad to listen to until the real thing comes out later.
I also looked up the wiki article last night, and I was most upset! They do NOT have an Xbox360 version!

Between Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, and the Metroid Prime trilogy, I would argue that getting a Wii is worth it. Just saying.

I tremble a LOT, so I figured that the Wii was a bad buy originally... If I had the money, I'd get the Wii with Brawl, Prime 3, and a few of the new Sonic games... but alas, I don't have that kind of money on me... ~Joe

Maybe that is contributing and I'm not saying anything as of yet? Nah, she's cute, and she's my friend, and I'm trying to get her to go out with me, lol. (Just for Olivia's information.) But, ah, this game comes out in November? Grrrr ~Joe

Well now to get back on track.
I learned about a few new Wisp abilities. There are also Pink Whisps that makes Sonic's quills spikier so that he can cling to and roll up walls with a spin dash, and the Orange Wisps that give him this rocket ability where he dashes vertically upward and creates and explosion once it runs out.

Oh hey! I forgot to reply to this.
Personally, I don't trust it. When people making the game says it's JUST for kids, that doesn't seem right. Whatever happened to family fun or at least slight maturity?

Where do they say that Hissara?
And Galaxina, did you by chance catch the color of the one that makes him burrow underground?
