I say it is Teen rated, for it has real guns in it at times. And real lead bullet guns always make things too innaproriate for kids. I mean games like Halo, Gears of War, splinter cell, Metal Gear Solid, and many more have real guns in them, and they are all rated Teen or Mature because of it.

They don't just have guns though; they aren't rated what they are for the weapons they use.

Well if it is not the guns for the reason halo, gears of war, half life are teen or mature rated, then what is it then?

The violence, maybe? Ya know, killer aliens can kinda make something rated T. ~Lili

Graphic violence. I don't know about Gears of War or Half Life, but I have played Halo and I know how detailed it is whenever something dies.

Wouldn't the Metarex be considered killer aliens?
But I see what you mean by the violence, for unlike Sonic, when a guy dies in Halo or those other games, alll thier blood and guts squirt out and they make screaming noises. Plus I think the swearing also contributes to it.

Well I still think Sonic X is Teen rated though. It is totally not for little kids. Take this scene from the show for example, little children should definately not be seeing that! Also I remember Chris is 18 in the show, I am sure that would be old enough for him to own a gun license. And what would be so bad about Chris fighting using a lead pipe or a crobar? All he would do with the pipe or crobar is beat his foes in the face with it. That is no less violent than Amy beating guys with her hammer or knuckles pummeling one with his fists.

I love Chris, and I probably always will. He's just like me (except filthy rich). I really hate his dad, though. He's so stupid.
I'm probably the biggest Chris Fangirl in the world. Hey, you never know.
(Don't bash me. You will be had.)

I hate chris even thouge i like sonic. He was so annoying! If i was sonic i would not take chris as best friend. I would rather take Tails to be my best friend forever.

The other reason for why I hate Chris, is that the only purpose I saw in him is dead weight on thier hands. He was only slowing them down and just made things harder on all of them. Now if he could at least stand well in a fight while armed with a crobar or an axe or even a gun of some sort, he wouldn't be so useless. I mean if it wasn't for him, Sonic wouldn't have almost gotten killed by those two Metarex experiments in Epsidoe 67 that Black Narcissus had worked for so many years on, and plenty of other situations too.

yeah, if i remember correctly in that scene, Sonic didn't care for Chris, all he said was 'I've never seen Cosmo so scared', like he doesn't even know Chris. And then he went berserk...

Keep in mind that, even if Chris hadn't gone with Cosmo to the base, she still would've been taken hostage. Also remember that, while he doesn't fight well, he's helped them win several times. Those hover shoes he made for Sonic, for instance, probably won the battle on more than one occasion. What got one my nerves was that, while he was supposed to be smart, he really didn't talk or act that way.
The following quote is not exact, but it should get the point across.
"Well, it said on the website that hedgehog's will eat cat food..." "Sorry, I don't have a taste for that stuff." "Yeah, I guess you're not like other hedgehogs."
Was it the talking that clued him in, or the way he sprayed half the water out of the pool when he landed in it?
Another:
"Hey, maybe if I increase the power supply..." *dimensional teleporter turns on* "It worked!"
It took him six years of working on the machine to think of that?

I admit that he does have times where he acts dumb though he is not. That gets on my nerves some time. Here is another one I must mention In Episode 58, When they were fighting the metarex experiment, Mineralis, he is just randomly firing rockets everywhere and he says to himself "There just has to be a weak spot." Well of course there is, its the eye stupid! I sorta said to myself then Just keep firing there until his life meter runs out and that'll do it. I mean every boss-type character in sonic can only be harmed by striking a big obvious weak point, like a singular eye, glowing orb, control center, or something of that sort. How dumb can you be. Also You are right that Cosmo still would've been captured in episode 67 if he hadn't come, but neither one wouyld've been if he happened to have been carrying one of these babies!

Uh, hate his guts. The series would've been 100 times better without him.

I also remember this time he was really stupid. Remeber in episode 59, right when they see Baboonzle and a voltnid escaping with a planet egg? He then shoots the cannons at the voltnid, and they bounce off its chest. Then when he fires the Sonic Power cannon, sonic also gets lost and it was his fault for that. Why doesn't he just target the eye and keep shooting till its health meter reduces to zero? That always how it works with Sonic best. Every boss-type character in Sonic always goes down when they hit a big obvious weak spot many times till its health meter runs out. Here are many examples.
Black Bull could only be harmed by hitting its singular eye. Chaos could only take damage from a hit to his brain. The egg golem only was hit by attacking the memory core orb on its head. Most eggman machines only are harm,ed by hitting eggman's control center he's in. The Egg Emperor could only be hit by strikking the glowing orb on its chest.
That's always how it is in Sonic. They have to hit an obvious weak spot a number of times such as a singular eye, glowing orb, control center, exposed core or something till its health meter goes down. That was very stupid of him to not.

Okay, I think I'd better comment on this.
First off, he had no way of knowing that the Sonic Driver wouldn't work; it always had before. Second, big, obvious weak points are a gameplay element, not something that is really incorporated into the story. Chris wouldn't have thought to fight something the way he would play a video game, and most of the time that doesn't work. (Respawns, anyone?) Third, there's no life meter in actual fights, which is what every fight in any bit of fiction is in the context of that particular work. Even the games themselves generally avoid mentioning them in any way that would effect the plot, and stick to some off-scene character or an anonymous narrator.
