Hi, I am back. It is me Selina, I just go under the name galaxina now. Anyways, I found out where the rings that Sonic gets to power up in Sonic X come from. Basically, they are just ring-shaped pure energy capsules created by Tails using a machine so that Sonic can get a power boost. He had one of these ring machines in the Tornado and X Tornado as well as Chris's spaceship as well. He doesn't need a Chaos emerald to use the machine, he just uses it whenever it has enough energy charged.

Uh...yeah. No offense, but I think anyone who watched more than one episode of the show would know that already.

I watched the show, but I didn't know that. I must not pay attention that much.

I had to mention this since the rings have had many different uses in Sonic. In the games, you collect them to keep from losing a live if you get hit and 100 equals a 1-up. In the archie series, they were called Power Rings, were quite rare, and gave the user great power and knowledge after use. Now in Sonic X, they are Tails's power-ups for Sonic.

Right. Apparently, in Archie, they also allow the user a wish. That's how Amy grew up so quickly in it.

I had to post this since people I have seen on other sites had become confused about the rings quite often since in different versions of Sonic, they had different uses. One person who didn't know what they were in Sonic X even guessed that they were crystallized energy from the Chaos Emeralds or Planet Eggs.

I believe in the Sonic SATM cartoon of Sonic and Sally jumping to they're past by using the times stones showing scene of Dr. Robotnik place rings on all of the prisoners before transforming them into his mechs, but now I'm wondering how the power ring from the first episode of this series was able to cure others that were robotisized, yet you see them in the past wearing that on their heads. I don't get this little sizzling trap/plot hole at all after I saw the episodes called, "Blast to the Past Part 1 & 2."
But yeah I don't think anyone today has figured out today what materials used to make a ring, and for why it powers up Sonic like an Emerald, lol. It's just a see it to believe it kind of thing.

Well how come this information about Sonic X is actually like by people such as CSD here and they don't say stuff like it isn't real or true and this isn't at all official. You guys usually say stuff like that about my other Sonic X information, but why not this? Do you al want to be nice finally?

*sigh* Shoulda quit while you were ahead, Galaxina... now they're going to come down on you.
I think the rings can also work as a modular energy source. I think they mention them once in the anime, when they need to use them to provide power to the Sonic Driver.

I'm just a n00b around this neck of the boards, so I don't regularly know where others are getting off much in saying your info is false or not, (though I've seen some member's posts) but like it or not, either its true or false, respecting oneself's graditude in what info he/she provides (whether its a staff user or reg. member) is what leads up to an excellent poster which often leads up to a good board community. Most information a user posts does not entirely prove the user is of nothing, but to be honest, its not competition either. Galaxina, I don't really find your posts to be what others say is true or not or to how it all can provoke a flame war. All I know is your a good active user on this board who posts alot by providing good enough possible back-up information. So yeah onto regular discussion. The Power Rings are like a back up source if I recall a friend of mine saying or my younger brother, but either way I never really thought about the differences of Sonic X until I re-watched the SATM Sonic series and the Adventures series before I figured out the different sets of rings are above all are different, depending on the Sonic Television series with their own motive functions to help power Sonic himself.
